Restaurants may receive:

Delivery drivers may receive:

• Order and delivery instructions
• Phone number where needed for delivery coordination

Third-party providers may process data for:

• Payments, including providers such as PayFast, Yoco, or similar payment gateways
• Cloud hosting and infrastructure
• Push notifications and communication services
• Analytics, diagnostics, crash reporting, and performance monitoring
• Mapping, delivery, and location-related services

6. Payments

Online payments are processed by secure third-party payment providers. Mzansi Quick Bite does not store full card numbers or sensitive banking details inside the app. We may store payment method, payment status, order reference, and transaction-related records needed for order processing, refunds, disputes, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.

7. Security

We use reasonable security safeguards to protect personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

• Data is encrypted in transit where supported by our services.
• Account access is protected through authentication.
• Access to operational data is limited based on app roles and business needs.
• Payment processing is handled by secure payment providers.

Users can request deletion of their Mzansi Quick Bite account and personal data.

Once verified, we will delete or anonymise personal data linked to the account where possible. Some records may be kept where required for legal, tax, accounting, security, fraud prevention, refund, dispute, or legitimate business purposes.

Order, delivery, payment, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, support, and dispute records may be retained where necessary for legal or legitimate business purposes.
